Expo Québec is a festive, twelve-day event combining an agricultural fair, a midway, and a whole host of activities where fun and discovery are front and center. Popular among Quebec City residents and tourists alike, the event attracts nearly 400,000 visitors every year!

Agriculture

Expo Québec is first and foremost a huge agricultural fair starring 2,000 of Quebec’s finest animals, all groomed to perfection for the provincial animal judging competitions. Beef and dairy cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and smaller animals get their chance to parade around the ring to the delight of spectators.

Fun and discoveries!

Expo Québec is also about experiencing the thrill of some fifty exciting rides and a wide variety of games of chance and skill. It’s a time to take in performances on the outdoor stage and the Bête de scène® young talent contest. It’s an opportunity to learn new things in a fun atmosphere at the theme pavilions and to sample gourmet delights at Le Carrefour agroalimentaire. And it’s also about an international sand sculpting competition where tons of sand are crafted into works of art by the world’s top sand sculptors.
